Did you know that polarized fishing sunglasses can improve your visibility through the water? Expert anglers often wear them for this sole purpose. The polarized lenses have a vertical transmission axis that blocks the light reflected off the water's surface. So instead of looking down at the water's surface only to see the sun's blinding rays reflecting back, you'll be able to see several inches or more below the surface.
